People are giving different statements regarding Sanatan Dharma, after which a debate is going on in the country regarding Sanatan Dharma and meanwhile, the Government of Nepal is trying to remove some special words from the official dictionary. One of these words is Om, which is also a symbol of Sanatan Dharma.

Efforts are being made to change the dictionary in Nepal since 2016, now the Supreme Court there has also formed a committee regarding this issue. However, the anger of the people who believe in Sanatan Dharma has not subsided. Let us know what is the whole matter…

The matter of removing the word Om from the official dictionary of Nepal has been going on since 2012. At that time there was Communist Party government in Nepal. On the orders of the then Education Minister, a committee was formed to make changes in the dictionary. On the basis of the report of the committee, it was decided to remove all those words which include Om, Shri, Vidya, Buddha, Brahmin.

This decision of the government is being opposed by the Socialist Front, a coalition in the government itself. Nepali Congress MP Bhandari is openly opposing the government on this issue. He says that removing the word Om is like attacking Sanatan culture.

In Sanatan Dharma, the word Om is considered the symbol of Lord Shiva. The word Om is considered very sacred and powerful. According to Hindi grammar, the word Om is made up of three letters. A U M, out of these A means to arise, U means to arise and M means to become silent i.e. to become absorbed in Brahma.

Regarding this decision, a lawyer has filed a writ in the Supreme Court of Nepal, hearing which the court has requested the Bar Council to send a jury to give its opinion on this. Watch the video for more information.....
