The Jammu and Kashmir National Awami Party (JKNAP) has criticized Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan over the violence in PoK. JKNAP said in a statement issued on Facebook that human rights violations happening here should be stopped. PM Khan ensures that they get the freedom of speech and life.

On Monday, Pakistan's paramilitary force opened fire on a crowd in the Sharda Valley of PoK's Neelam district. Two people died in this and more than 12 were injured. On this JKNAP said that the killing of youth by security forces in broad daylight in the name of security in independent Jammu and Kashmir is condemnable. We want justice. The killers should be punished.

The lives of Kashmiris are in danger due to the occupation of Pakistan

The statement said that the lives of Kashmiris are in danger due to the illegal occupation of Pakistan. Attempts to dilute or abolish state subject law in Pakistani independent Jammu and Kashmir are in violation of international law. We will not accept this. Will take this issue before the International Court and the world community.

State subject should be reinstated immediately

JKNAP said, 'We demand immediate restoration of the state subject. Also, the construction, purchase, and appointment after the removal of the state subject law in Gilgit-Baltistan should be removed. Civil liberties of the people of PoK have been curtailed for years. Political parties with the ideology of an independent Jammu and Kashmir are not allowed to participate in local elections.

Imran Khan lifts ban on books

The statement said that we demand Imran Khan to lift the ban on books. To promote peace here, the Muzaffarabad government should be strengthened, so that the representatives can demand from the international community for its peaceful solution.

India bluntly on elections in PoK

India strongly objected to the elections held in PoK. It clearly told Pakistan that it has illegally occupied PoK. Pakistan has no right over these Indian territories. Pakistan should immediately vacate all Indian territories under illegal occupation. The electoral process here is completely wrong.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that the exploitation of the people of PoK and depriving them of their freedom is a complete violation of human rights. The so-called elections being conducted by Pakistan in PoK is a conspiracy to hide the physical changes of this region. We have lodged a protest with Pakistan on this.
