Instructions of CM Yogi, Dedicated Team of Education Department Check each Teacher’s Document

The mess in the recruitment of 69000 teachers in Uttar Pradesh and the Anamika Shukla case involving Kasturba Gandhi schools have put the functioning of the education department in the dock.  The Yogi government, which has spoken of zero tolerance on corruption, is in full readiness to surround the opposition on these matters.  In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to constitute a dedicated team to get all the teachers of the state examined.  He was instructed to check the documents of every teacher in the state.

Recently, some cases in the Education Department have given the opposition a chance to point fingers at the government.  Investigation has been handed over to the STF in 69000 teachers recruitment in Prayagraj.  At the same time, layers of irregularity are being opened in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas with fake appointments in the name of Anamika Shukla being exposed.  Angered by this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath discussed the issue at a team-11 meeting held at his government residence on Sunday.

With the emphasis on transparent and equitable system, he has directed that the documents of all teachers appointed in all schools of Secondary Education, Basic Education, Higher Education, Kasturba Gandhi and Social Welfare Department should be examined.  A special team will be formed.  Wherever a disturbance is found, strict action should be taken.  Yogi has asked for strict and speedy action against women, SC-ST, criminals involved in criminal activities like cow slaughter and cow smuggling.
