Instructions for Listing the Petition Seeking Recording: Ayodhya Case

The Supreme Court on Friday directed a petition seeking live telecast or recording of the hearing of the Ayodhya Land Dispute Case to be listed before the bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi (CJI Ranjan Gogoi). On the said PIL, the Supreme Court bench said that since it is a very sensitive issue, we urge the Chief Justice to take a decision on this petition himself. We request that the CJI hear this on September 11. Let us know what arguments have been kept from the Muslim side till now.

The Supreme Court had on Thursday asked a number of questions from the lawyer of the Muslim side on accepting the claim of Nirmohi Akhara as a serviceman. Justice Chandrachud said on Thursday that the sevadar is not alone, along with him there are gods. He is seeking authority for the deity. What would you say on this? On this, Dhawan said that he accepts the claim of the Akhara as a serviceman but the ownership of the land belongs to the Muslims only. Dhawan said, 'They used to worship on the platform, they are just demanding duty.' On this, Justice Bobde asked, for whom are they demanding duty. Dhawan said that he is asking for duty towards God.

On the 19th day, the Muslim side, claiming ownership of the mosque at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, on Wednesday accepted in the Supreme Court that Hindus worshiped there. On behalf of the Muslim side, Rajiv Dhawan said that he does not oppose Nirmohi Akhada's right to service worship, he accepts his claim to be a serviceman. As soon as Dhawan argued this, the judges of the bench put a series of questions on Dhawan. The court said that if you are accepting the claim of service worship of Nirmohi, then it means that you are assuming that there was a temple with a mosque there.
