In this case, the name of the company's CEO Salil Parekh and CFO Nilanjan Roy had cropped up. After this, Infosys sent this complaint to the audit committee. Now the audit committee has given clean chit to both the officers. During this, Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani said that Parekh and Roy are strong mentors. Parekh played a key role in growing the company.
23% Increase in Profits
Meanwhile, Infosys' October-December quarter results have also been released. The company has made a profit of Rs 4,466 crore this time. This is about 23 percent more than the December quarter of 2018. Infosys had a profit of Rs 3,610 crore in the quarter of December 2018. On the other hand, in the third quarter this year, there has been an increase of 7.9 percent and it has reached Rs 23,092 crore.
Infosys Boom before Results
Let us tell you that before the results, Infosys shares saw a boom. On the last day of the week, Infosys shares rose by 2 per cent during the business, while in the end it rose by 1.47 per cent to Rs 738.25.
