Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team Draws 1-1 against Australia

 The Indian Junior women's hockey team made a comeback after trailing against host Australia to draw the match 1–1 in a match played in the Three-nation tournament. In the beginning of the match, the host team was completely dominated but later the Indian team made a great comeback and ended the match on a draw. In this match, the hosts took the lead in the 25th minute thanks to an on-field goal from Skonel Courtney but India managed to equalize with Gagandeep Kaur's goal on a penalty stroke in the 52nd minute. The Indian team started aggressively in the first quarter and made many good moves. The team got their first penalty corner in the 10th minute. Australia's strong defense, however, thwarted India's effort.

India thwarted some of Australia's attacks in the second quarter but Courtney scored a goal in the 25th minute to put Australia ahead 1-0. The Indian team made some good moves but the team failed to score a goal as Australia were 1-0 ahead by the intermission. Australia started the offensive in the third quarter and the team soon got a penalty corner but India thwarted the hosts' effort.

However, India dominated the fourth quarter. The team soon got a penalty corner but the team could not convert it into a goal. India, however, got a penalty stroke in the 52nd minute, which Gagandeep Kaur made no mistake, reaching the goal and equalizing the score at 1-1 which proved to be the final score. After Gagandeep's goal in the last moments of the match, no goal was scored from India, but no goal was scored from Australia as well and the match finally ended on the draw.
