Till a day before this, it was feared that this test could be canceled. The BCCI and the English Board were in touch regarding this.

India is currently 2-1 ahead in this series. After Team India's assistant physio Yogesh Parmar's report came positive on Wednesday, there were speculations that some players may also be infected. However, the reports of all the players came negative on Thursday night. After this test, most of the players from India and England will leave for the IPL by a chartered flight.

Shastri is already positive

Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar and physio Nitin Patel are already Covid-19 positive and now backup physio Yogesh Parmar getting infected with coronavirus is not good news for Team India.

The final match will be played in Manchester

India bounced back from a defeat at Headingley in the Oval Test and won the match by 157 runs. In the series, India is currently leading with 2-1. If the Manchester Test is a draw or Team India wins, then after 2007, India will be able to win the Test series in England.
