Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has claimed that in the next five years, he will make Delhi as clean as Tokyo, London and Paris. In view of the forthcoming assembly elections, the Chief Minister is scheduled to hold seven town hall meetings in two weeks. He said this on Thursday during the first meeting. The Chief Minister presented the report card of the Delhi government during this meeting and also told the roadmap for the future.

Arvind Kejriwal has included in his report card the work done for education, health, electricity and water. It was held at the Town Hall Constitution Club. Representatives of RWA and senior citizens were present in it. CM introduced report card

Kejriwal said that in democracy, the people are the owners and giving the account of the government to the public after five years is the beginning of a healthy tradition. He said that the report card is presented with great pride when the numbers are good. Kejriwal said that just as the revolutionary work was done in the field of education, health, electricity, water in five years, in the next five years, now Delhi will be made the most beautiful city in the world. CM told the people living in raw colonies not to trust until the registry comes in hand.

Mention of free travel and cctv

Kejriwal kept the AAP government's report card in front of the public and said that no country in the world can progress without good education. Following this theme, the AAP government has arranged for a good education for every child from school to graduation. The CM said that in 2013, he had fasted for 15 days on the demand for cheap electricity. Now when Delhiites get an opportunity, the cheapest and 24-hour power is being available here. Many issues were mentioned including water, free travel for women in buses, CCTV.

Many questions were asked from the public during the townhall meeting. In response to a question about free facilities, the CM said that in the last five years neither increased the tax nor made the budget of Delhi in deficit. He said that VAT in Delhi was reduced from 12% to 5%. On the question of schemes for small traders, CM said that in the last 70 years, traders are treated like thieves while 99 percent of the traders want to work honestly. The AAP government relied on traders, reducing taxes.

When a person raised the issue of high traffic challan, the CM asked him that since the amount of challan has increased, the violation of rules has also reduced. If people have any problem then it will definitely be considered. On the question related to women safety, CM said that on this issue, the police government and society will have to work together. Delhi government has installed a lot of CCTV cameras, the work of installing 2 lakh street lights has started, marshals have been appointed in buses.
