A two-day meeting between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is going to be held in Delhi today. According to sources, issues related to policies are expected to be discussed in this coordination meeting. In this meeting, BJP's National General Secretary BL Santosh, including the party's top leaders, office bearers, and Union Ministers are expected to attend. This meeting is considered very important in view of the farmers' movement, elections in five states next year.

Apart from this, various organizations affiliated with the RSS working in areas like education, culture, and economy can also participate in this closed-door meeting. In view of the assembly elections to be held in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, this meeting of RSS-BJP is being considered very important. Such meetings have been held from time to time between the representatives of the RSS and the BJP. The main objective of these meetings is to exchange views on the plans and policies of the government.

RSS meeting held last month also

The RSS held a four-day-long meeting last month on the assembly elections due next year. In this meeting, the Sangh reviewed its preparations in view of the elections. Also, they discussed the strategy to ease the way for BJP's victory in these elections. This meeting is taking place at a time when one year of the farmers' movement is about to be completed. Farmers' organizations are still protesting demanding the withdrawal of three new agricultural laws.

Farmers' movement continues against agricultural laws

Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik said on Sunday that he can end the farmers' agitation against agricultural laws if the government promises to provide minimum support prices to farmers through a law. The Governor said that the government should take a big step regarding MSP. He said that farmers will not accept anything below the guarantee of MSP.
