According to this, from next week i.e. from November 29, 2021, schools and colleges will open. At the same time, in this regard, in a meeting held today i.e. on November 24, 2021, Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that colleges in Delhi can reopen on November 29.

The decision was taken after a review meeting

He said the air quality in the capital was improving now. In such a situation, it has been decided that schools, colleges, educational institutions will reopen in the state from next week. The decision was taken after a review meeting of the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on the prevailing pollution situation in the national capital.

Due to rising air pollution in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced on November 13 that all schools would be closed for a week from November 16.

After this, the next day, on November 14, the Haryana government announced the closure of schools in Gurugram, Faridabad, Jhajjar and Sonipat. After this, the schools were closed till further orders, but now the government has decided to open educational institutions.

At the same time, before this, the parents had also appealed to the Delhi government to open schools and colleges.

The parents had written a letter to the key officials including the Lieutenant Governor, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Environment and Health Ministers, demanding that the schools should be opened soon, as the school-educational institutions were closed for the first 20 months due to the Corona epidemic. That's why schools should be opened soon.
