With the knock of the Punjab assembly elections, the political agitation has intensified in the state regarding the farmers' movement. In this episode, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal has given his reaction in view of the ongoing farmers' agitation against the new agricultural laws.

According to the report of news agency ANI, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Monday that I want to request PM Modi to leave his ego and accept the demands of farmers and repeal the three laws. So that the lives of farmers can be saved.

Assured people to solve all the problems

At the same time, SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal has been busy going among the public and promoting the policies of his party. On Monday, he reached Ludhiana and understood the issues of the people. He has assured people to solve all the problems. Sukhbir Badal started this tour by taking the blessings of Lord Shri Ram laying his head in Ram Darbar Temple, Sector 39, Chandigarh Road. Also, he was honored by the temple committee. Sukhbir Badal interacted with entrepreneurs, property dealers, and common people in the temple premises and learned about their problems.

Changes are necessary for the agrarian economy

It is noteworthy that after the agricultural laws brought by the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, since November last year, the protest of farmers in Delhi and its surrounding areas continues. The government says that these changes are necessary for the agrarian economy. Also, these laws will improve farming and new technology. However, farmer leaders say that due to these laws, there is already a low income of farmers.
