There is good news for the retail traders and the unemployed who are constantly struggling with the economic conditions only after the corona crisis knocked in Rajasthan. Rajasthan government will lend interest-free loans up to Rs 50,000 without guarantee to more than 5 lakh retail traders and unemployed people of the state in the next one year. For this, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also approved the Indira Gandhi Credit Card scheme on Monday. It will lend interest-free loans up to Rs 50,000 without guarantee to more than 5 lakh retail traders.

The scheme will be applicable for 1 year

Under this scheme, the loan can be taken for a period of up to one year. Loans can be sanctioned under the scheme till March 31, 2022. The special thing is that the moratorium period of the loan will be 3 months. The loan repayment period will be 12 months. In this entire scheme, the autonomous government will be done in every district under the department. At the same time, the role of the District Collector will remain as the nodal officer.

These will be eligible

In this scheme of the government, those small traders who have been given a certificate or identity card on behalf of the urban body will be eligible for the scheme. Traders left out in the survey on behalf of the body or merchant vendors with recommendation letters from the Town Vending Committee will also be eligible. Vendors who have been selected during the survey but have not issued a certificate or identity card will also be eligible. Unemployment allowance is not available in urban areas and whose monthly income is Rs 15000. is not more than that, they will also be eligible.
