A Pakistani terrorist who was plotting terrorist attacks in India has been arrested from Delhi. The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Mohammad Ashraf, the head of the sleeper cell of Pakistani terrorists, around 9:30 pm on Monday night. On Tuesday, the Special Cell of Delhi Police gave this information to the media.

Mohammad was in constant touch with his Pakistani masters

Pramod Kushwaha told that Mohammad Ashraf was hatching conspiracies at the behest of his masters of Pakistan. During interrogation, he has told that he has been involved in many terrorist activities including Jammu and Kashmir. Also, the DCP of the Special Cell has said that efforts are being made to identify his associates. Pramod Kushwaha said that this terrorist living in India for 15 years had also got married here. After coming to India, he was in constant touch with his Pakistani masters. Also, terrorist Ashraf was sending all the information to the masters of Pakistan from here.

Weapons found from terrorist Mohammad Ashraf

The DCP of the Special Cell of Delhi Police has said that the interrogator Ashraf is hiding information. However, he will be produced in the court on Tuesday itself. Also, he told that arms and a huge amount of ammunition have been recovered from Ashraf, who was trying to carry out a big terrorist incident. An AK-47 rifle, a magazine, 60 rounds of cartridges, a hand grenade, 2 state-of-the-art pistols, and 50 rounds of cartridges have been recovered from it.

Terrorist Ashraf is a resident of the Punjab province of Pakistan

Mohammad Ashraf is a resident of the Punjab province of Pakistan. With the help of forged documents, he had obtained an Indian identity card. However, Ashraf has been arrested under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Explosives Act, and the Arms Act.

Arrested terrorist who came to Delhi via Bangladesh

The DCP of Delhi Police's Special Cell told that for a long time he was living in India with a fake ID. Ashraf, who acted as a sleeper cell, was working at the behest of the ISI. However, Ashraf had reached India via Bangladesh. Also, he reached Delhi via Siliguri. He was involved in many terrorist activities. Mohammad traveled to Dubai and Thailand on an Indian passport. The Special Cell told that Mohammad Ashraf had also married a girl from Ghaziabad.
