Massive Protest at Delhi’s Jama Masjid

High alert is going on in several states including Delhi in view of violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the country.

Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act are taking place in Delhi's Jama Masjid. During this time Bhima Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad was also present there. Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad was not allowed for a protest march from Jama Masjid to Jantar Mantar today.

High alert is going on in several states including Delhi in view of violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the country. Internet service is disrupted in many districts of UP including Lucknow and Ghaziabad. Mobile Internet services were restored in Assam. The services were suspended on 11 December following opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that it is our right to protest. However, we condemn violence and anyone who is involved in violence is the enemy of the whole protest. Protests should be held, but it will succeed only if peace is maintained.
