Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been given Z Plus security of CRPF commandos on Monday. Under his protection, 35 CRPA personnel will be posted at his residence on Motilal Nehru Marg.
Apart from this, this protection will also be available to them during their journey across the country. Please tell that a few days ago, SPG security of Manmohan Singh was withdrawn.
More than 50 arms commandos have been provided under the protection of Manmohan Singh. These jawans will be deployed in security in shifts. Along with the Dog Squad, a demolition squad will also be part of the Z Plus circle. Under this, the team will put round at least thrice in 24 hours at the place where the security person will live.
Outside Delhi, where Manmohan and his wife will stay during the visit, there will be three-tier security of CRPF commandos. As per the Z Plus rule, the CRPF will also coordinate with the respective state police, intelligence teams, event organizers and the Public Works Department.
