Indian Ambassador to Palestine Found Death with Unknown Reasons

Indian delegation to Palestine Embassy Mukul Arya has passed away on Sunday. The cause of death is still not clear. The dead body of Palestinian officer, Mukul Arya was found at headquarter of the embassy in Ramallah. Ramallah is a Palestinian city on the west bank of the Jordan River, 10 km north of Jerusalem, with an average elevation of 880 meters above sea level, adjacent to Al-Bireh. The city currently serves as the de facto administrative capital of the Palestinian National Authority. The Foreign Ministry of Palestine, Dr Riyad al-Maliki gave information about the death of the officer. Mourning over Arya's death, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has portrayed him as the finest office-bearer. The Palestinian leadership has condoled the death of Mukul Arya.

Mukul had a boundless connection with Palestine

Palestine's Foreign Minister Dr Riyad al-Maliki said, 'We mourn the passing of Mukul Arya. He was an excellent officer and above all a very good friend. The Palestinian government will provide all possible help in this matter. Mukul had a deep connection with Palestine and was deeply versed in the region. Our President Mahmoud Abbas has also expressed deep sorrow at the passing away of Arya. The Palestinian government is going to send its representative for Arya's final farewell.

S Jaishankar expressed grief

The Foreign Minister of India has also condoled the death of the Indian Ambassador to Palestine Mukul Arya. He wrote on social media, 'Deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Mukul Arya, Ambassador of India to Ramallah.' He described Mukul Arya as a talented officer.

MEA Spokesperson also mourned the death

The Spokesperson and the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi took to his Twitter account to mourn the death of such a talented officer in the headquarter with the reason still being unknown.

Mukul represented India at UNESCO

India's role in the Israel and Palestine dispute has always been neutral. India has been insisting on resolving the dispute between Israel and Palestine through dialogues. Along with Israel, India also has very good relations with the government of Palestine. Mahmoud Abbas is the President of Palestine and the last time when Prime Minister Modi visited Israel, he also visited Palestine at the same time.

Mukul has also worked for India in UNESCO. Apart from this, he was the ambassador of India in Kabul and Moscow. He did his education from Delhi and was a student of JNU. In 2008, he was selected for the Indian Foreign Service.
