Viral fever is gaining momentum in the district. While eight to ten children have died in Chilli village of the district, eight children have also been reported to have died of fever in Chhayasan village. In private hospitals including district civil hospitals, children suffering from fever and vomiting continue to come.

Eight children have died due to the viral

A temporary hospital was built by the department in Chilli village of Hathin sub-division of the district for the same disease. Now in Chhayasan village, there has been a stir due to the sudden occurrence of fever in children. Villagers told that so far eight children have died due to the viral. On the other hand, CMO Dr. Brahmadeep told that the team of doctors is going door-to-door to examine every individual. An ambulance was deployed in Chhayasa village.

Temporary clinics and hospitals have also been started for 24-hour patient care. The CMO said that the number of fever patients is high in the slums of the city. Because of the dirt, there is more outbreak of mosquitoes there. Mosquito bites start becoming viral and the platelets of children start decreasing. The CMO said that 150 teams are working for the health department in the district on behalf of the department, which is visiting 70 to 80 villages daily, along with checking people, fogging, spraying medicines, etc. are being done.

An increasing number of children suffering from OPD

Dr. Vasudev, Pediatrician, District Civil Hospital said that earlier the number of children suffering from viral fever was very less, but in the last few days, it has increased by more than 50 percent. He said that 60 to 70 percent of the patients coming to the hospital are suffering from viral fever.

Chilli, Chhayasa, Soundhad, Bhimsika, Malai, Khiluka, Mitraul, Malpuri, Hathin City, Palwal's Housing Board Colony, Civil Line, Sheikhpura, Jawahar Nagar Camp, New Colony, Mohan Nagar, Shamshabad, Adarsh ​​Colony, Civil Line, and Dukadia Mohalla Including dozens of colonies and villages are in the grip of viral.
