Goa Assembly elections are very important for the Congress party

Regarding this, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that during the election campaign, we will keep in front of the public issues like Swayampurna Goa Yojana, management regarding Corona and the economy of the state. There is a lot of discussion in the political corridors that the Goa Assembly elections are very important for the Congress party because the party has already lost its power in many states and here too, despite getting the maximum number of seats in the last elections, it failed to form the government. And the BJP formed the government by forming an alliance with smaller parties.

Let us tell you that in the 2017 Goa assembly elections, Congress got the maximum number of 17 seats. Whereas, BJP managed to win 13 seats. However, the BJP formed the government in alliance with regional parties.
