Admission to the ECA quota for music, dance, NCC, NSS, quiz, digital media, creative writing, fine arts, debate, divinity (for all Sikh Minority colleges) and yoga. Yoga has shifted from the sports quota this year to the ECA. For ECA every college is required to have at least 1% and a maximum 4% seats (additional seats) this year.

Delhi University has released the Trials Schedule for 5% of its sports and extra-curricular activities (ECA) quota. ECA preliminary trials will begin on June 25. The ECA quota trial for 14 categories will be in 12 colleges. At the same time, the sports trials will last from July 2 to July 6.

Admission to the ECA quota for music, dance, NCC, NSS, quiz, digital media, creative writing, fine arts, debate, divinity (for all Sikh Minority colleges) and yoga. Yoga has shifted from the sports quota this year to the ECA. For ECA every college is required to have at least 1% and a maximum 4% seats (additional seats) this year. A total of 5% of seats are reserved for ECA and Sports. There are prelims and final trials for ECA. All the students will give Prelims applying for this quota. Candidates selected in the performance will give final trials in July. Merit list will be made on its result and certificate point (75%: 25% weightage) and admission will be done. It is not necessary to get certificates during the prelims.

35 categories of Sports Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Chase, Cricket, Diving, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judy, Kabbadi, Chase, Lost Lose, Netball, Shooting, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Table. There will be trials for tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, taekwondo, tennis, and wrestling. Their weightage will be 60% and 40% of the certificates. There will be several different places including DU's Hansraj College, University Polo Ground, Sports Complex, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool Complex, Rugby Stadium, Gymnastics Hall. Parents will not be allowed inside the trials. In all the colleges, ECA trials will start at 9 a.m. The sports trials will start at 7, 7:30, 8, 9:30 in the morning.

For Creative Writing, there will be trials in Ramlal Anand College and Rajdhani College from 28th to 30th June. Dance trials will run in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College from June 25 to July 2. Dance trials will be for four subcategories – Classical, Indian Folk, Western and Choreography. For debate, there will be trials in Kirori Mal College. For digital media and photography on July 1 and 2 in DDU College. From 26 to 28 June for Kirori Mal College Music Instrumental and for Vocal in Daulatram College from July 25 to 3. From June 25 to July 4, there will be quiz trials on June 27-28 in the theater and at Laxmibai College in Miranda House. From 26th to 27th June there will be trials from Ram Lal Anand College for Diversity and NCC at Kamala Nehru College from June 25 to July 3. There will be Yoga trials at Bharti College on July 4 and 5 in Shri Venkateswara College and on 29th June. There will be trials for fine arts from 2 to 4 July at Aatmaram College.
