Delhi: DMRC set to Run Delhi Metro with many New Rules

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address on Tuesday, it has been decided that with the launch of Lockdown-4 from May 18, the people of Delhi are also going to get many discounts.  There is every possibility that waivers will be announced for opening non-government offices from May 18.  In such a situation, the operation of Delhi Transport Corporation buses and Delhi Metro is considered fixed under public transport.

According to DMRC sources, if the Metro trains were allowed to run in Lockdown-4 after May 18, each passenger would have to follow the physical distance.  It is being said that in view of the physical distance, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is putting stickers for the distance between the seats in each coach, so that people can understand on sight.  Let us tell you that a few days before the lockdown started, the system of physical distancing was started in the metro trains.

It is being told that DMRC is examining through mock drills how many passengers will be able to ensure physical distance by sitting in a coach.  The metro staff is sitting on its own and doing full planning about it.  Exercise is being done in this regard several times a day.
