Chhattisgarh: CRPF Jawan fired at his Colleagues with AK-47 in Sukma, Four killed

There is news of firing in the CRPF camp in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. According to the information, this incident is from the CRPF camp of the Maraiguda police station area. In the firing of a jawan, 4 soldiers of the 50th battalion of CRPF were killed while 3 soldiers were injured.

It is being told that the condition of one of the injured jawans remains critical. There was a dispute between the soldiers, which increased so much that a jawan started firing bullets. However, the injured jawans have been shifted to Raipur hospital.

Accused jawan in custody

The accused jawan has been taken into custody. According to the information given by the police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan has opened fire on his associates in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Four soldiers have died in this while three others are injured.

Inspector-General of Police gave this information

According to news agency PTI, Inspector General of Police of Bastar region of the state Sundarraj P said a jawan opened fire on his comrades in the camp of the 50th battalion of CRPF located in Lingampally village of Sukma district. However, four soldiers have died in this incident and three others have been injured. Also, Sundarraj said that the police had received information that at around 3.30 am today, a jawan opened fire on other soldiers with his AK-47 rifle after a dispute.

Interrogation of the accused jawan continues

Sundarraj P said that as soon as the information about the incident was received, other jawans and officers reached there and caught the accused jawan. Later the casualties were taken to the hospital. Also, the police officer said that the police is interrogating the accused jawan.

Names of dead and injured soldiers

Four jawans Dhanji, Rajib Mondal, Rajmani Kumar Yadav, and Dharmendra Kumar died in this incident. Three other jawans Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Dharmatma Kumar, and Malay Ranjan Maharana have been injured.
