The year 2022 has started with good news. Public sector petroleum marketing company Indian Oil has given a big gift to the people by reducing the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 100 from January 1, which is expected to bring great relief to the people. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

Earlier in December last year, Indian Oil had increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders. In December, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 100. However, it is a matter of relief for the common people that there was no increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinders at that time and this time also the price has been kept constant. It is a matter of relief for the common people that there was no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders at that time.

The reduction in the price of commercial cylinders gave a lot of relief to those businessmen who are running restaurants and hotels. The price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will cost ₹2001 after Indian Oil cut the price of the commercial cylinder by ₹100. Commercial LPG cylinder will be available in Kolkata for ₹ 2077. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai has gone up to ₹1951.

Price of Domestic LPG

There is no change in the price of Domestic LPG as of now. The last time the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were increased was in October last year. In Delhi and Mumbai, a non-subsidized 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder costs ₹899.50. In Kolkata, domestic LPG is available for ₹ 926, while in Chennai, a domestic LPG cylinder is available for ₹ 915.50.
