The nation has been on fire since the Udaipur incident hit the streets. The protest took a violent shape when Kanhaiya, a resident of Udaipur mistakenly showed his support for Former BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
The poor man had to lose his life due to the incident and thus the tragedy created a feeling of fear as well as outrage in the masses. Also, a similar incident was noticed in Maharashtra where a Chemist has to surrender his life as he too showed his favor over the remarks of Nupur Sharma.
Twitter users today showed their dissent over the music application Gaana and apps similar to it for streaming songs promoting communal disbalance in the state. Gaana, however, hasn't responded to the controversy yet, users on the other hand are demanding to stop listening to the platform.
What does the song mean?
The song roughly means, “Beheading is the only punishment for those who insult Prophet Muhammad." People are demanding to clamp down the song from platforms like Gaana and other music streaming platforms.
