Approval of 2 New AIIMS In The Country, Benefits of Ujjawala plan

The Central Government has decided to provide free LPG connections to all the poor families giving an extension to Ujjwala scheme on Monday. Also, the establishment of two new AIIMS in the country was approved. In addition, the Cabinet decided to make changes in the law regarding the bank accounts, not the compulsory linking of Aadhaar card with SIM card.

The bill will be presented in the same session in the Lok Sabha by preparing the draft with necessary changes on the basis.

In September this year, the Supreme Court had abolished the mandatory base. The court had said in its judgment that the telecom company or the bank, the school and the airline, no private company can demand the basis for providing any kind of service.

 Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme was launched in May 2016, which was to provide 5 million LPG connections to BPL families by 2019. It was decided on Monday in the Union Cabinet meeting. Explain that until now this scheme was restricted to BPL families only.
