The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) can announce the names of all its 70 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections in the first week of January. Most of the sitting MLAs may get a chance again. At the same time, the party has almost decided the candidates for the seats of AAP MLAs who have been disqualified.

Chandni Chowk, Bijwasan, Karaval Nagar and Gandhi Nagar seats were vacant after the membership of AAP MLAs was canceled and the party has to select new candidates on these seats. It is being told that the party has agreed on the candidates for Chandni Chowk, Bijwasan and Karawal Nagar seats. On the other hand, the three seats where the party lost in the last election also have one Rohini seat. From Rohini, a well-known businessman of sweets on AAP's ticket can contest.

BS can give tickets on June

The party may give ticket to well-known lawyer BS June from Bijwasan assembly constituency. BS June has played a successful role of special public prosecutor in many prominent cases including Nitish Katara case. Presently, he is associated with a lot of cases as a lawyer for the Aam Aadmi Party. June is also said to be close to the Chief Minister.

CM has agreed

It is being told that the Chief Minister has also agreed with his name on the Bijwasan seat. Four-time MLA Prahlad Singh Sahni or his son, who joined AAP some time ago on Chandni Chowk seat, can contest. A PAC member Durgesh Pathak is likely to contest the election on Karawal Nagar seat. Durgesh Pathak is campaigning continuously in Karawal Nagar area. The party is searching for a candidate for Gandhi Nagar seat. Two to three names are in discussion from here and the party will take a final decision on the candidate in this seat in the next few days.

Tickets can be cut on some seats

Dhanwati Chandela, a three-time councilor from Rajouri Garden area, can get a ticket. She has recently joined the Aam Aadmi Party. At the same time, tickets of existing MLAs can also be cut on some seats, although the number of such seats will not be large.
