According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, 62,212 confirmed cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 837 patients lost their lives due to coronavirus. The country is once again witnessing a decline in daily coronavirus cases.
Even though total cases of COVID-19 have crossed 74 lakh, the decline in daily cases is a positive sign. According to the data, 74,32,681 people have been infected with COVID-19 in the country so far.
On Friday, 63,371 cases were reported. On the other hand, the number of patients recovering from the virus has crossed 65 million, while the active cases have come down to less than eight lakhs. Now a total of 7,94,000 patients are being treated in the country.
More than 90% of patients have been cured in nine states and four union territories, which is more than the national average of 87.8%. In the rest of the states too, this figure is around or above 80%. The number of recovered patients has increased to 65,24,596 in the country.
Rajasthan: 2010 cases reported in the last 24 hours:
On Friday, 2010 new cases were reported in the state, while 2201 people were recovered and 15 patients died. So far 1,69,289 people have been infected. Of these, 21,381 patients are currently being treated, while 1,46,185 people have been cured. On the other hand, 1723 people have lost their lives due to Coronavirus.
Bihar: 1062 confirmed cases in the last 24 hours
On Friday, 1062 patients were reported in the state, 1454 people recovered and 9 patients died. So far 2,01,887 people have been infected. Of these, 10,649 patients are currently being treated, while 1,90,256 people have been cured. So far 981 patients have died due to infection.
