It is worth mentioning that Chinese troops had tried to infiltrate on the southern shore of Pangong Tso Lake located in Ladakh. However, due to the promptness of the Indian soldiers, this nefarious move of China was thwarted. Now, efforts are being made to resolve the ongoing tension between the two countries. Earlier, at the Foreign Ministry level talks on December 18, 2020, the two countries stated that they were ready to continue working towards ensuring the withdrawal of troops along the Line of Actual Control.
At the same time, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Now, India has also started constructing infrastructure near the LAC at a fast pace considering the requirements of the locals as well as our forces. We are developing our infrastructure at a very fast rate.”
