India-China Military-Level talks after Violent Clashes in Galvan

Once again a Core Commander level meeting between India and China to discuss the ongoing border dispute in Ladakh.

The three forces have been on alert since a violent clash with the Chinese army in Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh. According to information from army sources, Major General-level talks between India and China have come to an end once again to reduce obstruction. However, earlier the negotiations between the two countries were fruitless. On the other hand, there is an atmosphere of anger across the country about this action of China. People are boycotting Chinese goods.

Now India-China commander-level talks once again on the border dispute, the meeting time were at 11.30 am. The meeting is taking place at the Chusul-Moldo border point, part of China. Earlier, the meeting held on June 6 was also held here.

Take 14 Corps Commander from India. General Harinder Singh is talking with China. First, take it between the two sides. General level talks were held on June 6 in which it was agreed that the two sides would withdraw from all sensitive areas.

On the Corps Commander-level talks held between the two sides on June 6, the Foreign Ministry said that the two sides would continue military and diplomatic engagement to resolve the situation and ensure peace and stability in the border areas.

The Ministry had said that the two sides agreed to resolve peacefully in the border areas as per various bilateral agreements and keeping in mind the bilateral relations between the leaders, peace and stability in the India-China border areas is essential for overall development.

However, even after this, the border dispute between the two countries continued and on the intervening night of June 15, clashes between India and China reached a peak. Violent clashes between Indian and Chinese soldiers took place in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh, in which 20 army personnel were killed. Among the martyred soldiers were Colonel rank officers.

At the same time, official sources quoted US intelligence reports that 35 Chinese soldiers died in violent clashes with the Indian Army. However, China did not provide any information about the casualties of the People's Liberation Army in the clash.
