Senior Commander Level meeting between India and China is being held in Moldo near LAC. It is a meeting point on the part of China. India is headed by Lieutenant General Harinder Singh, while Major General Liu Jin joined the meeting on behalf of China. According to the news agency, this meeting of military officials of both the countries is taking place at a time when China is increasing the number of troops on the 3488 km long Line of Actual Control (LAC).
China planning action in all three sectors:
China is collecting weapons in all three sectors on LAC including in the western Ladakh, in the middle (border of Uttarakhand and Himachal) and east (the boundary of Sikkim and Arunachal). According to the news agency report, China is also gathering troops in the Lipulekh pass area in Uttarakhand. It is part of the Kalapani Valley.
Focus will be on two parts during the talks:
It is believed that the focus areas in Sunday’s talks will be Pangong Lake and Gogra Post. The soldiers of India and China have not yet retreated in both these places. China has increased deployment in the Finger 5 and 8 areas in Pangong. India has also completed retaliation against it. In Depsang, the Chinese military is trying to stop Indian soldiers from their already ongoing patrolling.
Indian Army monitoring the situation:
The Indian Army is fully prepare and monitoring the conditions. Therefore, in this area, the Indian Army has also made complete preparations for a long time. Indian soldiers are monitoring the situation. They have adequate ration, special clothes required for the region, special Arctic tents and other essential equipment. Around 35 thousand Indian soldiers are currently deployed in Ladakh.
