The third match of the five-match Test series between India and England will begin from Wednesday at Headingley. Team India is likely to make changes in the playing XI for this match. The Indian team can go ahead against England with 3 big changes. The return of spinner R Ashwin is believed to be certain, while Suryakumar Yadav may also get a chance to debut.

After the last two matches, now Team India's opening pair has been decided. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are in good form and scoring runs. The pair, who got India off to a great start at Lord's, would like to repeat their performance in Leeds as well.

Suryakumar likely to make International debut:

Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been struggling with form, can be rested in the third match. He scored in the second innings of the Lord's Test but still there are doubts about his inclusion in the playing XI. Suryakumar Yadav can be given a chance in his place. If that happens, it could be his Test debut in Leeds. He can be seen playing in place of Pujara at number three.

Captain Virat Kohli will bat at number four followed by Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane at number 5th. On the other hand, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has played really well in the last few matches. His place has been fixed in Team India as a wicketkeeper.

Ashwin expected to replace Jadeja:

In the two Tests played so far, Ravindra Jadeja has failed to prove himself in bowling. R Ashwin may be given a chance in his place. All the veterans also believe that this is a change the team must make. On the other hand, Injured Shardul Thakur is fit, so he can be included in the playing XI in place of Ishant Sharma. Captain Kohli insists on keeping Shardul in the playing XI consistently to strengthen the batting.

Meanwhile, the team will have Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Mohammad Siraj as the leading fast bowlers. The superb bowling of Siraj and Bumrah was crucial in the victory of Lord's Test. At the same time, Shami also bowled very well from the other end.

India's probable playing XI:

Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav/Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (capt), Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant (wk), R Ashwin or Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur or Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj.
