Also, the Chief Ministers were of the opinion that in view of the way the Corona cases are increasing, there is a need to be vigilant in removing the lockdown. "
According to him, most of the chief ministers of BJP ruled states also said that the lockdown should continue and economic activities should start slowly. The Chief Minister of Puducherry said that Prime Minister Modi mentioned the steps taken by the government to deal with the corona virus. He said, "I said that our state is small and its resources are limited. Our revenue has stopped and our economies are facing difficulties and I requested to release the outstanding amount of GST. "Narayanasamy said," I also said that the Government of India should provide a large number of test kits to all the states. "
According to Narayanasamy, he said that the government should give a special package to protect MSMEs. The Chief Minister said that the issue of workers and students stranded at various places was also raised. He said, "Our workers and students are stranded abroad, there should be a system to bring them back. Our demand was also that the Center should formulate a policy regarding migrant workers. "He said that the Prime Minister did not clarify anything in terms of giving financial packages to the states. According to Narayanasamy, Prime Minister Modi praised Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in terms of dealing with the Corona crisis and also mentioned Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in his address.
