Imran Khan has Proved to be a Failure on the Economic and Political Stage of the Country

Imran Khan, who won the World Cup for Pakistan, has proved to be a failure on the economic and political stage of the country.  Pakistan has its worst days since Imran becoming Prime Minister.  Opposition parties of the country are constantly proving them a failure on every front.  His relations with the army are also not good.  Now even voices are coming out that the army is trying to bring some other face of Imran on the political stage.  Cricketer Shahid Afridi's speech in Ghulam Kashmir a few days ago is being considered as a link.

Significantly, Imran Khan took over the reins of Pakistan in August 2018.  Even before that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the country's Supreme Court.  At that time, it was being said that the army was unhappy with Nawaz, so he wanted to take over the power of Imran.  This is also a fact because the army has been playing the most important responsibility in forming and toppling any government in Pakistan.  When Imran Khan came to power, the promise he made to build a new Pakistan is far from the ground reality today.

After Imran Khan became the Prime Minister, the rate of inflation in the country has increased wildly.  Food and drink essentials have increased manifold compared to 2018.  According to Statista.com, the inflation rate in the country was 2.86 per cent in 2016, after Imran Khan became Prime Minister (2018) to 3.96 per cent.  The same rate was increased to 6.76 percent in 2019.  At the end of 2019, this rate became so uncontrollable with Imran Khan that it crossed 11 percent in the first quarter of 2020.  These are not just some figures which are not justifying the policies of Imran Khan which he has made but also highlighting the truth that Pakistan is suffering today
