Many countries are launching several policies to reduce the effects of coronaviruses. Most countries have taken additional monetary and fiscal policy measures. The International Monetary Fund (IMF), Director Kristalina Georgieva said, that these decisions of the government are in their own accord, are taken correctly for their nation. She said, "We are launching the Trai Policy Tracker (Tracker) today so that we can help our member countries in combating the new coronavirus crisis." Apart from this, Georgieva told them very important things regarding COVID-19

Kristalina Georgieva  said that the global economy is in trouble due to the current crisis of Corona virus infection. she has also predicted a major economic slowdown since 2009. The IMF has said that countries need to take unprecedented steps to deal with this virus. According to the IMF, the world economy declined by 1.5 percent due to the lockdown. Investors have also started turning away from the markets

Earlier on Wednesday, the IMF and the World Bank  requested governments around the world to avoid taking loan installments from poor countries so that they could fight to coronavirus epidemic. The two concurrently stated that, 'The World Bank Group and IMF believe that it is very important for developing countries to provide signs of relief and strength for the financial chart at the time.'

It is also important that more than 80 countries have requested emergency funds from the International Monetary Fund. The IMF chief says that the ability to lend one trillion dollars and will help the weaker countries during the Corona crisis.
