I was Nervous to Meet Matthew Hayden for the First Time: Ravichandran Ashwin

Indian team's spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on Saturday revealed about the cricketer who made him nervous in the first meeting. He has revealed this on Twitter during the #AskAshwin session. R Ashwin is very active on social media like the rest of the players these days because every activity of cricket is stopped due to Coronavirus. Most of the players of the Indian team are using social media to create social distancing in lockdown. Meanwhile, when a fan asked R Ashwin which player you were nervous about in the first meeting, he named his first team Chennai Super Kings' former partner and Australian legend Matthew Hayden. The Indian spinner said he was none other than former Australian opener Matthew Hayden.

Let us tell you that Ashwin and Hayden shared the dressing room of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) from 2009 to 2010. Matthew Hayden played 32 matches for Chennai Super Kings, in which he scored 1107 runs at an average of 36.90. At the same time, Ashwin played 97 matches and taking 90 wickets for the CSK team. Ashwin took 20 wickets for CSK in the 2011 season.

CSK had won the title in 2010 and 2011 under the captaincy of Dhoni. However, Ashwin will be seen playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020. Earlier, he was associated with the Kings XI Punjab team as captain, but under the trade window, he joined Delhi. However, the 13th season of IPL, which begins March 29, has been postponed indefinitely by the BCCI due to the coronavirus epidemic.
