Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday, on the recent notice given by the Agra District Administration and Uttar Pradesh Child Rights Protection Commission, said that whatever the state government may threaten through its departments, she is the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi and will keep the truth in front of them while performing duty towards the public. She tweeted, 'My duty as a public servant is for the people of UP, and that duty is to keep the truth in front of them.

Significantly, the Uttar Pradesh State Child Rights Protection Commission sent a notice to Priyanka on Thursday for making "misleading" comments on the matter related to the Girl Child Protection Home in Kanpur and sought her reply within three days. The notice states that if she does not deny her post, strict action will be taken against her. A few days ago, the district administration issued notice to Priyanka on the tweet made by Priyanka claiming death of 28 people within 48 hours in a medical college in Agra.
