South Korean carmaker Hyundai has introduced its Venue Compact SUV at the New York Auto Show and in India. Hyundai's Venue is India's first connected SUV and it will be officially launched on 21st of next month that is in May, in India. Hyundai Venue is the first sub-4 meter compact SUV of Korean Carmaker.

After landing in the Indian market, Venue will be competing with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. However, it is different in terms of connectivity with its competitors. Since this is a connected car, it can talk to your driver and activate many smart features.

Bluelink technology has been given in this. In this technology, 33 smart connectivity features have been provided, out of which 10 have been specially included for India. If we talk about its look, the company's trademark cascade grill has been given at the front. Along with the slick LED lights on both sides of the grill are given with turn signals. If we talk about its side profile, it will look like current Creta. The car has been provided Powered Sun Roof.

If we talk about its rear profile, here are the taillights in the square shape. There is a large 8.0-inch touchscreen display in the Venue's interior, with the support of Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology, standard Android and auto car play. There are 6 airbags, Speed ​​sensing auto door lock, Hill Assist Control, Brake Assist system and ISOFIX for safety.

If we speak about its mechanical specifications, then you will get three engine options here. Standard gasoline variants will get a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine. This engine generates 82bhp power and 115Nm pickup torque. This engine will get a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder unit in the diesel variant. These engines generate power of 89bhp and pickup torque of 220Nm.

The most powerful engine is the 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine generates 118bhp power and 172Nm pickup torque. With this, there will be a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox or 6 speed manual gearbox for transmission. It is expected that its price will be kept between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 12 lakh.
