Hundreds of Crores of Heroin Caught in Ola Cab: Delhi

The SSP said that during interrogation of the accused Zeenat it was revealed that his younger sister was the leader of the Rukasar gang.

Heroin worth crores is being brought from Delhi to Punjab through Ola cab. The Patiala police arrested three smugglers in the case on Friday. These include a female smuggler from Mumbai. Two kilos of heroin have been recovered from the accused.

In a press conference held on Friday evening at the police line of Patiala, SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu said that the police party led by SP (D) Harmeet Singh Hundal stopped a Swift car coming from Ambala during the checking on Friday.

Car rider Rashid Ali resident village Rajgao police station Dado district Aligarh UP Hall resident Hatas New Seelampur North East Delhi, Nasir resident Kurla East Jagriti Nagar Mumbai and Zeenat resident BMC Colony Film City Road Goregaon Mumbai East Heroin was recovered. A case has been registered against them on the spot at Shambhu police station.

The SSP said that during interrogation of the accused Zeenat it was revealed that his younger sister was the leader of the Rukasar gang. She lives with an African boy in Vikas Puri Delhi and supplies heroin only through mobile phones in other states including Haryana and Punjab. The SSP said that the Delhi Police has been contacted for the arrest of Ruksar and a team has also been sent there.

The SSP said that Raksar used to keep tracking the GPS location of the cab of Ola Company through his mobile phone while sitting in Delhi. Those people who had to supply heroin, they used to keep contact only with their mobile location and they used to send their friends sitting in the mobile location cart to coordinate the people who bought heroin with them.

The SSP said that Ruksar had booked an Ola cab through his sister Zeenat and Nasir and sent two kilograms of heroin to Dharmakot (Moga). After reaching Dharamkot, Rukasar had to tell his colleagues who to supply heroin. According to the police, Rashid Ali is the driver of the car, who is 26 years old and is a tenth felon. The second accused Nasir is 21 years old and tenth pass. Female smuggler Zeenat is 27 years old and divorced.
