MUMBAI: The Tata Group has been on top of the list for the second consecutive year in 2019, in the list of the 100 most valuable brands in the country. The Tata brand value has increased by 37 percent and it reached $ 19.6 billion. In this list, the country's largest insurer LIC second and IT company Infosys have been ranked third.

The brand value of the Tata group was $ 14.23 billion in 2018. This report says that Tata Group is not only the most valuable brand in the country but it has also recorded the fastest growth in the top 25 brands. The brand's brand value has increased by 37 percent in the reporting period. It has been stated that the group has registered steady growth in the vehicles, IT services, steel and chemical sector.

Public sector insurance company LIC is ranked second in terms of brand value. During the reporting period, the brand value of LIC increased by 22.8 percent to $ 7.3 billion. The brand value of software company Infosys rose 7.7 percent to $ 6.50 billion during this period. Infosys ranked third on the list.

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group is also mentioned in the list released on Tuesday by brand finance based in England. During the year under review, the brand's brand value decreased 65 percent to the lowest level of $ 55.9 million. In this list, Anil Ambani group slipped 28 places to 56th rank. The brand value of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has fallen to the lowest in the top 100 brands.

State Bank of India (SBI) was at fourth with a value of $ 5.97 billion. Its brand value has increased 34.4 percent. Mahindra Group's brand value rose by 35.5 percent to $ 5.24 billion. HDFC Bank's value increased 19 percent to $ 4.84 billion. HDFC Bank remained sixth in the list.

Only Airtel managed to make it to the top ten in the telecom sector. However, the company's brand value dropped 28.1 percent to $ 4.79 billion. It is seventh in the list. HCL has been ranked eighth in the list with brand value of $ 4.64 billion. ़

At the same time, the country's richest man and Anil Ambani's elder brother Mukesh Ambani's brand worth $ 4.54 billion, with the brand value of 9th and Wipro has been at the tenth place with a brand value of $ 4 billion.
