There are leaders in the number two position in the Congress, but if you go to BJP, you will not be able to get this position. In 2018, he became a hero by winning the Congress, but Sachin Pilot has been suffering from loss by performing rebellious attitude.
He says that Sachin Pilot is also accused of destabilizing a well-run government in the state. Apart from this, most of the Congress MLAs are still with Gehlot, that is why the Congress leadership has given importance to Gehlot more than Pilot. At the same time, BJP has also refused to make Pilot the CM.
Congress state president Sachin Pilot has claimed that the Gehlot government is in a minority and 30 MLAs are with them, but who are with them has not been revealed. On the other hand, Congress in charge Avinash Pandey has said that the letter of support of 109 MLAs has reached Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Congress is in a very strong position in the state. There are a total of 200 MLAs in the Legislative Assembly, the Congress has 107 MLAs in the current party position. Apart from this, 13 independent MLAs also have the support of Gehlot government. At the same time, BJP has 72 MLAs and has the support of three other MLAs.
The Congress itself has the support of more than a simple majority of legislators at the moment. Comparing the BJP and Congress camps, there is a difference of 45 MLAs. It seems very difficult to bridge the gap of 45 MLAs. In such a situation, even though the support of 30 MLAs is being claimed by the Sachin Pilot camp, such a number of MLAs are not seen standing with them too. That is why the top leadership of Congress is giving more importance to Gehlot rather than Pilot.
Senior journalist Shyam Sundar Sharma also said that Sachin Pilot has been seen bargaining more than breaking the Congress so far. The support of one-third of legislators is needed to break the Congress, which is not seen with them at the moment. Sharma says that it has to be seen how many Sachin Pilots are able to connect Congress MLAs with themselves. If one third of the party does not add MLAs, Gehlot will not be able to oust the government in Rajasthan. Not only this, Sachin Pilot has also damaged his image by rebelling from the Congress.
