Hopeful IPL will Go Ahead this Year: Pat Cummins

Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, the most expensive foreign player of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), said that he is ready to play in this T20 tournament even without the audience. The IPL was scheduled to begin in Mumbai from 29 March as per the schedule, but due to the epidemic that has killed more than 95 thousand people worldwide, this T20 tournament has been postponed till 15 April.

Cummins was asked if he would support organizing the matches without an audience, he said, 'Of course, I will support everything in which it is possible to organize these big tournaments safely.' Cummins was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 15.5 crore, making him the league's most expensive foreign player.

Cummins said that if it does not happen then it will miss something, but if it is organized without an audience, then I have no doubt that it will be a great tournament. However, the Australian bowler said that the first priority should be the health and safety of the people.
