Ingredients:

4-5 potatoes, peeled and chopped into long size

Oil – to deep fry

First coating:

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon red chilli paste

3 tablespoons Cornflour

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons salt

Second Coating:

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons Cornflour

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2-3 tbsp water

To make the sauce:

2 tablespoons oil

1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic

1 teaspoon red chili flakes

3 tablespoons white sesame seeds

1 teaspoon vinegar

1 teaspoon soy sauce

2 tbsp tomato ketchup

1 1/2 tbsp honey

1 teaspoon red chilli paste

1/4 cup water + 1 teaspoon cornflour to make batter

2 tablespoons chopped spring onion

1. Wash the sliced ​​potatoes with clean water and keep aside.

2. Now mix cornflour, maida, chili powder, chili paste and salt in a bowl. Coat the potatoes in this mixture.

3. Heat oil in a pan or pan and fry the potato pieces till they are half cooked. Then take them out on a tissue paper plate and allow them to cool.

4. For the second coating, make a thick solution by adding a tablespoon of water, corn flour and black pepper powder. Dip fried potatoes in this batter and fry in hot oil until crisp and golden. Then take it out on a paper plate and keep it aside.

5. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in another pan, add chopped garlic and fry for a few seconds. Then add chili flakes and sesame seeds and saute for a minute.

6. Now add vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, honey and red chilli paste and mix together.

7. To make the solution, mix corn flour with 1/4 cup of water and pour it into honey. Pour the vinegar mixture into the pan and stir it for a few seconds until it thickens.

8. Add spring onion greens with fried potatoes and mix well.

9. Turn off the heat and garnish by sprinkling sesame seeds and serving.
