Two-wheeler company Honda has launched the first BS6 scooter Activa125 in the Indian market. The new Activa is available in three variants – Standard, Alloy and Deluxe. The company has priced the standard variant at Rs 67,490, the alloy variant is priced at Rs 70,990 and the deluxe variant is priced at Rs 74490.

BS-6 Activa Price is Comparatively More

Actually, the starting price of BS6 Honda Activa 125 is Rs 2478 more than the disc variant of Activa of BS-4. The price of the disc variant of BS-4 Activa is Rs 65,012. While the Activa125's pollution is decreasing, the mileage is also being claimed to increase by about 13 percent.

This new Activa from Honda has a 125cc fuel injected engine with BS-6, which generates power of 8.1bhp at 6,500 rpm. It has a lower power output than the BS4 model. The company says that BS6 emission norms. This new Activa can be run on BS4 fuel without any problems.

Mileage increase claims

The company claims that the mileage of the new Activa 125 is higher than the current model of BS4, as well as it will reduce pollution. With the BS6 engine, the company has also given new features in it, it has eSP technology which gives silent start. Activa 125 LED headlamps and position lamps have been given, in which information like real time mileage and distance to amput has been given.

Delivery of BS6 Activa125 will start from 28 September. The company says that 26 patented technologies have been used in the Activa-125. There is no need to open the seat to fill fuel in this scooter, because now the fuel cap has been given out.
