Honda has finally introduced its first BS6-compliant scooter 2019 Activa 125 to the Indian market. The updated Activa 125 scooter 6 color option will be available in Red, Blue, Black, Gray, White and Brown. At present, Honda has not disclosed its value. Although we are expecting that the initial price of 2019 Activa 125 can be Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
To make the Activa 125 scooter different from other models, the company has made some changes in its design. Its front part has been slightly refreshed. Also here is the new decals, new Grab Rail and a new semi-digital instrument cluster. These ranges will display information such as average fuel consumption and real time fuel efficiency. It also has an external fuel cap.
The new Activa 125 has a 4-in-1 lock with an LED headlamp, a USB charger and a seat opening switch. Apart from this, Honda's idle stop system technology has also been included, which is similar to Hero's i3S (Idle-stop-start system). This feature closes the engine when the scooter is inactive for more than three seconds, and as soon as the rider presses the brake lever and twists the throttle it turns off from the switch.
In the 2019 Activa 125, the 125cc engine has been given the same as the previous models, although here the fuel is injected. In its new incarnation, the engine can generate the power of 8.6PS and the torque of 10.5Nm. Speaking of Suspension Setup, there is a telescopic forks on the front and Monoshock in the rear. Here for the braking there is a 190mm disc at the front and 130mm drum unit in the rear.
On the new Activa 125 scooter, the company is offering 6 years warranty (3 years Standard and 3 year Optional). In the Indian market it is competing with scooters like TVS NTorq 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125.
