Ingredients:
Sugar 3 cups
2 cups thick curd
Sugar 1/2 cup
Saffron 5 strings
Ground cardamom 1/2 teaspoon
All-purpose flour 1/2 cup
1 1/2 pinch baking soda
2 cups of sunflower oil
Water 2 1/2 cups
Rose Essence 4 drops
Eating color 1/2 teaspoon
How to make Jalebi:
Step 1
To make this easy dessert, mix all-purpose flour and baking soda in a bowl. Now add ghee and edible orange color to this mixture. To make the solution thick, add yogurt and water. Mix it well until it becomes thick. Keep the thickness so that it is easy to drip. Keep it overnight or for 8 hours.
Step 2:
To make syrup, heat water in a pan on medium heat. Add the sugar and mix until it dissolves completely. Let the mixture remain on low flame until desired consistency. Add saffron, cardamom powder and rose essence to it.
Step 3:
Now heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Now fill Jalebi mix in a muslin cloth and make a small hole in it.
Step 4:
Make round rings by pressing this cloth. Make the perfect rings from the inside to the outside. Fry them till the jalebi crisps.
Step 5:
Add these jalebis in the syrup for 2-3 minutes. Take care not to overheat the syrup. Now put butter paper or foil paper in a tray and take them out. Garnish it with silver work and serve.
