The Congress Party has announced 20-star campaigners for the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections of Himachal Pradesh. By-elections are to be held on 30 October. The name of Kanhaiya Kumar, who recently joined the party, is also included in this list released by Congress on Friday. Along with this, Punjab State President Navjot Singh Sidhu will also seek votes for the party in Himachal Pradesh.
At the same time, the name of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is on number one in the list of 20-star campaigners of Congress. The Congress high command has given another big responsibility to CM Bhupesh Baghel. Earlier, he was appointed as the Senior Observer for the next year's assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. By-elections are to be held on 30 October for one Lok Sabha and three assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh.
Along with this, the names of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot, Raj Babbar, and Bhupinder Singh Hooda are also included in the list of 20-star campaigners.
