It is alleged that the laborers' funds were distributed to the tailors, barbers and taxi drivers during the lockdown. In their complaint, the lawyers who filed the petition, Yogesh Pachauri and R Balaji, have said that all the disturbances have happened under the Delhi Building Construction Workers Welfare Board of the Labor Ministry of the Delhi Government. The petition claimed that these fake workers were also certified through different unions. It should be noted that all these unions have been formed during the last four-five years only.

The petition said that the people of these unions illegally recovered from 500 to 1000 rupees from all those people who were distributed this fund as migrant laborers. The petition said that instead of giving their rights to migrant laborers even in these difficult times, their money was distributed among those who were not migrant laborers. In this case, the investigation of this entire case needs to be done by CBI or any independent agency.
