Hero Xtreme 160R has launched. After a long wait, this bike has been launched in the market. With the Xtreme 160R, Hero MotoCorp has entered the 160cc segment. Direct competition on the market will be with Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. The Hero Xtreme 160R is powered by a 160cc air-cooled engine, which generates 15 bhp of power and 14 Nm of peak torque.
The Pulsar NS160 is powered by a 160.3cc engine, which generates 17 bhp power and 14.6 Nm torque.
Apache RTR 160 4V has a 159.7cc engine, which generates 15.8bhp power and 14.12 Nm torque.
Based on the data, the Pulsar NS160 is the most powerful among these three bikes.
The Xtreme 160R comes in single-disc and double-disc variants. Both variants have a 276 mm disc brake at the front. At the same time, dual disc variants have 220 mm disc brakes in the rear, while single disc variants have 130 mm drum brakes in the rear.
The Pulsar NS160 comes in only one variant, with 260 mm disc brakes at the front and 230 mm at the rear.
