Here is the truth:

DID LAXMAN RETIRE BECAUSE OF DHONI’S BEHAVIOUR?
Here is the truth:

"Captain cool" for keeping a very calm personality even in the most difficult times, MS Dhoni never loses his temper that is the reason which makes him great and highly respected among the cricket fraternity.

VVS Laxman is also a very cool and calm personality but rumors that there was a difference between both of these personalities which are the reason for the retirement of Laxman.

But Laxman clarifies it that Dhoni's attitude is very good and he manages to remain calm in the most difficult situations and backs his players well.

Dhoni maintained his cool even after a whitewash in Australia in 2011-12. This is in contrast to the public perception that Dhoni's isn't really approachable off-field, Laxman wrote in his book that captain cool's hotel room was always open for teammates till the time he went to sleep.

Laxman got nervous after media had picked up this statement but then Dhoni calmed him down in the best possible way.

"Laxman bhai you are not used to these controversies, but I am. Don't take this to heart. We all know that sometimes, facts need not come in the way of a good story".

Dhoni is in India and will join the team next year in Australia for the ODI series.

Laxman made his Under-19 debut for India against Australia in February 1994. Batting at six, he made 88 in his debut innings against a bowling attack that consisted of Brett Lee and Jason Gillespie, both of whom were making their debuts too. In the second game of the series, Laxman scored an unbeaten 151 in the first innings and 77 in the second innings to help his team register a 226-run victory. He continued his good form as he scored 36 and 84 in the third game to end up as the leading run-scorer of the series. The Test series was followed by a 3-match ODI series, where he managed scores of 24, 22 and 77. Later in August that year, the India Under-19 team toured England for 2 ODIs and 3 Test matches. Laxman disappointed in the ODIs with scores of 20 and 5. However, in the first Test, he struck 119 in the first innings but did not get to bat in the second innings as India cruised to a 9-wicket win. He made only 28 in the second match and 4 in the third.
