Yasin Malik will be heard on October 1 in Jammu against the murder of four Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel in Kashmir. Malik is also facing a case of abduction of Dr. Rubia Saeed, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and then Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Malik is currently lodged in Tihar Jail in New Delhi.

In Srinagar, justice is expected after 30 years in the murder of four Air Force officers and a civilian by terrorists. JKLF Chief Yasin Malik is to be produced in the TADA court of Jammu on Wednesday i.e. today in this case of murder.

Yasin Malik has been avoiding appearing in TADA court for the last 30 years. Earlier he was ordered to appear twice, but he did not appear. According to the agency, now the TADA court of Jammu has issued a non-bailable warrant for its appearance for the third time on Wednesday. This warrant was issued on 22 August.

The TADA court has ordered the Tihar jail in-charge to ensure Yasin Malik's appearance. According to the CBI challan in the Rubia hijacking case, a report was filed on December 8, 1989 at the Sadar police station in Srinagar. The CBI, after completing the investigation, presented a challan against the accused in the TADA court in Jammu on 18 September 1990. According to the CBI's second challan, on the morning of 25 January 1990, an Air Force officer in Rawalpora, Srinagar, was standing on the Sanat Nagar crossing for a car, when the terrorists fired indiscriminately on him. About 40 Airforce officers, including a woman, were present on the spot who were seriously injured. Two officers died on the spot, while two officers and a civilian later succumbed. The CBI, after completing the investigation, presented a challan against Yasin Malik and others in Tada Court Jammu.
