The Delhi High Court on Friday refused to hear a petition in which the daily traffic jam is being caused due to the protests in the Shaheen Bagh area of ​​South Delhi.

Protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens, the Shaheen Bagh area of ​​Delhi has been continuously protesting for more than 25 days. During this, there was extremely cold weather and then also rain, but the protesters stayed here.

At the same time, people are facing a lot of trouble due to the jam here, due to which a person had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court asking them to give directions on this. An official of the Sarita Vihar RWA said that Madanpur Khadar Village and Sarita A RWA delegation from Vihar Colony met DCP Chinmay Bishwal on Tuesday and appealed to end the picket. But, he raised his hands saying that something can be done only if there will be order from above. At the same time, Suman Birmani, a resident of Sarita Vihar, told that it took him five hours to go to Noida via the ashram.

Due to Shaheen Bagh, millions of people coming to Delhi-Noida-Faridabad have to travel several kilometers. At the same time, due to the closure of this route, there is additional traffic pressure on Ring Road, Mathura Road and DND. Due to this, there is a terrible jam on these routes.
